Their armor usually isn't good enough to protect against 16" guns. Try shooting at cruisers that are angled somewhat, because the increased effective armor might improve your chances of a full penetration.Īlso, don't be too afraid of bouncing shots on mildly angled lower tier BBs. If you're having overpen problems when aiming at cruisers, don't shoot at so many perfectly broadside cruisers. Most of my damage in games comes from overpens, I don't even bother aiming for citadels anymore, I just try to aim midway on the belt to maximize my chances of actually hitting rather than watching my rounds CONSTANTLY dipping in to the water. Also it's turrets seem to have the same armor as cruisers. I got my first citadel in I don't know how long against a point blank full broadside NC who was shooting HE at me, after my 3rd volley from 8Km. Most of the time it's 1 no damage pen, 1 over pen, and then the rest can RNG to misses or shatters/bounces. Getting a good solid hit with 1 shell out of 8 is the standard.
And the guns, it's not every now and again. Though I did forget to ask, is she upgraded or are you running stock still? She's kinda bad stock, and while she does improve once upgraded, you are still going to get trolled by her guns every now and again.
You'll get through her fairly quick, which will get quicker once you learn the Op's. When Narai and Ultimate Frontier roll around, play her like crazy in them.
